Weekend of 20–21 September 2025: European Heritage Days

The CCGVenables offers a tour of the Saint-Sulpice Church in Tosny, its furnishings and statues. Also on display are the history of the recumbent statues of Richard de Coëtlogon and his wife, the story of the Barons of Tosny (as part of the 2027 millennium project), and an exhibition of liturgical vestments and traditional costumes.

Venables Family Convention – 2023

The 2023 Venables Family Convention marked the grand return of this international event, eagerly awaited since 2018 and postponed due to the pandemic. For four days, the village welcomed families from around the world for meetings, workshops, heritage tours, exhibitions and festive evenings. Emotion was at the heart of this 8th edition, punctuated by official speeches, historic donations, intergenerational activities and the warm welcome of the Venables community.

Middlewich-Venables Cultural Relations

The exchanges between Middlewich and Venables began with a school exchange in the 1990s, creating lasting bonds between families, teachers and pupils. Over the years, trips, official receptions and Norman festivals have strengthened this relationship based on their shared history linked to Gilbert de Venables. In 2011, a Friendship Charter formalised this rapprochement, which was continued during the Venables World Family Conventions.
